Creative policy
The artwork must be yours to use, truthful, safe to display in public, and technically fit for the selected patch of steel.
Terms version: 2026-08-28
1. Rights and authorization
The advertiser must own or have permission to use every logo, trademark, image, font, name, slogan, endorsement, link, and other element submitted. The person approving the proof must be authorized to bind the advertiser. Proof of rights may be requested before production.
The advertiser grants Brand My Van a limited, non-exclusive license to resize, proof, print, install, display, photograph, document, and remove the approved creative for the campaign. Brand My Van does not receive ownership of the advertiser’s intellectual property.
2. Truthful and supportable claims
Creative and linked destinations must accurately identify the advertiser and offer. Objective claims, comparisons, prices, testimonials, certifications, health claims, financial claims, environmental claims, and limited-time offers must be current, supportable, and accompanied by disclosures required by law. Fine print cannot contradict the main message.
A URL or QR code must lead to the approved advertiser or campaign destination, use secure delivery where reasonably available, and remain free of malware, deceptive redirects, forced downloads, credential theft, or unrelated lead resale.
3. Content Brand My Van will not display
- Illegal products, services, conduct, or claims.
- Counterfeit goods, stolen intellectual property, impersonation, scams, deceptive pricing, or fabricated endorsements.
- Hate, harassment, threats, graphic violence, sexually explicit content, or content that exploits or targets minors.
- Tobacco, vaping, controlled substances, unlawful cannabis offers, weapons sales, or instructions designed to facilitate wrongdoing.
- Unlicensed gambling, bidding-fee schemes, unlawful sweepstakes, or deceptive financial, credit, investment, employment, housing, health, or legal offers.
- Content that obstructs required vehicle markings, creates a safety hazard, is reasonably likely to provoke vehicle damage, or violates payment-processor, printer, installer, insurance, parking, or applicable legal requirements.
Review is not an endorsement or a legal clearance. Approval can be withdrawn if new facts show that the creative is unlawful, unsafe, materially deceptive, infringing, or outside this policy.
4. File quality and scaling
The bid form accepts PNG, JPEG, or WebP artwork up to 4 MB. Use the highest-resolution version available; a transparent PNG is preferred for the browser preview. If the bid wins, Brand My Van may request production-ready vector artwork or another higher-resolution source before preparing the final proof.
Brand My Van scales artwork proportionally to preserve fidelity. Transparent padding and built-in whitespace count as part of an uploaded file and can make the visible logo appear smaller; Brand My Van may recommend trimming empty canvas without altering the mark. Artwork is not stretched. Cropping, recoloring, rebuilding, or changing proportions requires advertiser approval.
5. Vehicle-safe placement
Final creative must fit the selected usable painted-steel area. Production boundaries exclude windows, lights, handles, wheels, license plates, sensors, vents, door gaps, required labels, and any surface where installation would be unsafe or unreliable. Rear artwork must remain on the rear face; side artwork must not wrap around a corner unless the approved listing expressly says it does.
The browser preview helps choose a space but is not the production proof. Real photographs and measurements of the specific van control when they conflict with the 3D preview.
6. Proofing and changes
Brand My Van provides a final proof for written approval before production. The advertiser must check spelling, URLs, QR codes, colors, proportions, disclosures, and fit. Brand My Van corrects production deviations from the approved proof. Advertiser-requested changes after approval may require a new quote, and no extra work is charged without affirmative approval.
7. Conflicts and replacement creative
Brand My Van may reject creative that conflicts with another contractual restriction disclosed for the selected space or with a newly identified safety, legal, processor, printer, or installer requirement. When reasonably curable, the advertiser may submit replacement creative. If no compliant creative is accepted before production, refund treatment follows the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
8. Reporting a rights or safety issue
A rights holder or member of the public may report suspected infringement, deception, unsafe content, or an incorrect destination through the monitored support contact below. Include the affected advertiser, a description of the issue, supporting material, and contact information for follow-up.
